Even though we don’t see so much of these women playing with cards, there are some that made a good living out of playing poker. The most successful female poker players on this list are ranked on their earnings. It’s a well-constructed group of elite and well-respected professionals you would want to be around.

I find this amusing because I want to see all of these players every time in a tournament. As I said earlier, they made a good living with all their salary.

Here are the top 10 most successful female poker players you probably heard about:

Vanessa Selbst

The Brooklyn representative is your highest earning and most successful female poker player. Her payroll is over $11.6 Million in total winnings. Her career is wealthy enough, and of course, her trophy room includes 3 WSOP bracelets.

Kathy Liebert

Kathy is from Nashville, Tennessee and she had a brilliant career winning up to $6 million. Even though she has a degree in finance and business, her love for the poker was even bigger than searching for another career. Through her career, she won the World Series of Poker in 2003.

Vanessa Rousso

As a former Team PokerStars Pro player, Vanessa did pretty well with her $4 million in poker tournament winnings. A lot of you will recognize her from her recent performance on Big Brother 17 and as a music producer. She still plays poker, though.

Annette Obrestad

She is born in Norway and the youngest person that won the World Series of Poker bracelet. She was only 19 when she did that in 2007. Her poker career starts at the age of 15 playing “freerolls.” Now, she has over $3.5 million in winnings.

Jennifer Harman

Born in Reno, Nevada, Jennifer had a good career as a professional female poker player. Her winnings talk about her with $2.6 million in total tournament winnings.

Joanne Liu

It’s an interesting story how Joanne “JJ” Liu falls in love with the poker. She is from Taipei, Taiwan. JJ was pursuing her degree in computer science, but it was the poker that took her heart. She won over $2.5 Million in tournament winnings.

Liv Boeree

Liv was number one female poker player in the world for 2015. Her earnings from poker tournaments reach $2.5 Million and she also known as a TV presenter, musician, and model. In 2004.

Annie Duke

In her poker career, she won the World Series of Poker and the Tournament of Champions in 2004. She is the only woman to successfully finish the NBC National Poker Heads Up Championship and come out as a winner. Her total earnings in poker tournaments are over $2.2 Million.

Victoria Coren Mitchell

Victoria is the first woman in the female poker history to win the European Poker Tour. Her successes continue as she is the first poker player to win both the EPT London 2006 and Celebrity Poker Club 2005. As achievements go, Victoria is the first player to win 2 European Poker Tour Main Events in 2006 and 2014.

These female poker players deserve credit for their achievements. The poker world needs to start talking about these women more so that we can have more females joining the poker tournaments.

Isabelle Marcier

Born in Victoriville, Quebec, Isabelle went from practicing law to becoming a face of PokerStars. She has built up an impressive resume going from managing a poker room to placing in the money at 3 WSOP events by 2005 and reached her first final table the following year at an European Poker Tour event. Other career highlights include finishing 3rd at the Sunday Millions hosted by PokerStars and facing off against fellow Canadian and poker giant, Daniel Negranu at the Ante up for Africa charity in 2009. As of 2015 she had racked up 1.2 million dollars in winnings.

Isabelle has left the tour to return to the managing side of things by consulting for the casino industry including online casinos. She has even entered the cryptocurrency world by consulting on an ICO with CoinPoker which closed in Jan 2018.
